About
The Pandemic Poetry Project started as a way of staying in touch with people I care about around the world in poetry form. When COVID19 hit I thought about people in their homes and what a day might look like or feel like for them. I reached out to ten people and asked them to send me the following: An image from their day, a sound they heard, a memory or two that came to mind, any moods they were feeling. I got back a varied list of songs and screenshots, paintings, and intimate flashbacks to another time. I addressed each one like a love letter to that person, and each poem as a gift.
